As a BBBEE Specialist and District Trainer at Expeditors, I oversee the implementation and compliance of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) strategy and policies across South Africa. I also design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees and promote a culture of learning and development. I have a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and I have completed several leadership courses from GIBS Business School and currently pursuing a National Diploma in HRM Milpark Business School. With over nine years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, I have also worked as a Talent Development and BBBEE Specialist and an Ocean Product Supervisor at Expeditors, where I managed ocean freight operations, customer service, and compliance. I have developed strong skills in teamwork, onboarding, employee engagement, and BBBEE reporting and auditing. I am passionate about empowering and developing people, fostering diversity and inclusion, and contributing to the social and economic transformation of South Africa.
