I'm a dynamic community development practitioner, facilitator and Life Coach whose background and experience spans over 20 years in the development sector. As a ‘Possibility Coach’ I work with individuals and groups from all walks of life in pursuit of transformation and breakthrough in various spheres of life. Driven by passion for holistic wellness and social behaviour change I utilize a combination of coaching techniques and neuro-linguistic programming to facilitate removal of barriers and creation of a new path of thinking that leads to a sea of possibilities in life. As a development practitioner I have worked in areas of human rights, social justice, peace-building, sports and creative art, as well as women, children and youth programming. My executive role in the NGO sector has been centred around leadership and organizational development, good governance, positive transformation and an enabling, non-toxic culture in the workplace. Let us build cohesive teams that work towards achieving organizational goals. I've held several Senior Executive and Directorships in different organizations such as Sport for All, The Cancer Association of South Africa, ChildrenFIRST, Agenda Feminist Media and Amnesty International. A professional of versatile character with an ability to bounce with ease between a sensible team player and an astute independent thinker. As I mature, my teachable spirit allow me to grow, learn, unlearn and relearn relentlessly from my experiences and from people I encounter along the way. Live to flourish. In life possibilities are infinite. Explore. Be bold. Take a leap. To unwind, I read, cook and explore my creative abilities of writing poetry and music. Some of my music is available on Spotify and other networks.
