I am Branch Manager of a busy large library that is part of Merced County Library System. I have 1 assistant working with me in the afternoons. I was hired to bring the branch back into line and restore all services for the community of Los Banos. We have made a lot of progress to that goal! Numbers are up in circulation and in customer satisfaction! I am hands on in all aspects of running the branch including IT, circulation, storytelling, shelving, statistics, resume writing and grant writing and helping patrons enjoy and use their library.

Gustine Branch Library is a busy regional branch part of the Merced County Library System. I run the branch totally by myself! That means that I do circulation desk, reference desk, shelving, cataloging, statistics, paperwork, computer training and help, IT, and basically anything that needs to be done during hours of operation. I also do storytimes and crafts every week, plus a Spring and Summer Reading Program for kids. We have available various adult programs and tutoring available during the week.
