My role at ChannelAdvisor focused on improving the lives of the product teams however I could. This varied from creating clean templates for roadmaps, tracking and improving our go-to-market process, or establishing a process to take ideas from conception to execution. In the this role I transitioned a major process from Jira to Aha!, led a variety of large stakeholder meetings, and trained an entire company in a new software.

Following my work as Product Owner on the successful launch of Pearson's e-commerce store in the UK and Ireland, I moved to the PMO division within the Global Product Department. My role was two-fold. The first part was to standardize the tools (Jira, Aha!, Confluence, etc.), Scrum/Agile processes, and terminology used across Pearson's numerous technology and product teams. The second part was to use the same tools to roadmap the global portfolio and communicate important findings to business and technology stakeholders to aide in strategic decision making.

Pearson is changing the way it delivers educational products to its clients with the introduction of the OneDotCom Project. Our first e-commerce sites to migrate to this new platform are PearsonAssessments.com and US.TalentLens.com. These platforms are responsible for combined monthly averages of over $3 million turnover and 5,000 individual transactions.Next up was Pearson.com, our direct-to-students e-commerce site which will cut out the middleman and provide students a more affordable way to access textbooks and other learning materials.My role is multi-faceted across these projects. It began as a scrum master where it included everything from implementing organizational shifts towards an agile/scrum-based method to hands-on work as a Scrum Master with multiple Scrum teams. This involves working directly with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UXers, Designers, Content Strategists, Analytics Specialists, Technical Teams and various stakeholders to deliver the project on-time and on-budget.In April 2020, I moved back to the US and changed roles to become a Product Owner. My work there originally focused on bringing one of Pearson's recent acquisitions onto Pearson.com's ecommerce platform under the Accelerated Pathways brand. Following the MVP launch of Accelerated Pathways products, I became the Product Owner of Pearson.com in the UK and Ireland. Our goal was to launch an e-commerce store for the higher education market, which we successfully did on Dec. 4th, 2020. During my time at Pearson, I changed how our Digital Team handles requests, both large and small. From bugs to promotions to entire site migrations, I've created a process that standardizes the request from the outside, while customizing its journey and intake for our team.

We work closely with clients to provide the most effective app or website for their specific business idea or problem. My role comprised of 3 main parts: Agile Coach, Recruitment, and Strategy. My goal was to help the company in all business aspects from project management to growth and development. As a PSM-Certified Scrum Master, I have worked on over 10 projects throughout my time at Theodo, including start-ups like Winebuyers.com and Birdie, and large enterprises such as Admiral and Alfa. Also, I was solely responsible for the employee growth at Theodo for over a year and have made 15+ hires (50% of the company) for developer and business roles over that time. In addition, my role comprised of any other important business activities, whether it be finding a new office or tackling the challenge of on-boarding employees.
