Support a cross-functional team responsible for all aspects of our business, from proposal to delivery, for all production programs.Prepare and oversee daily machine schedules at two facilities and track adherence.Analyze and maintain capacity forecasting tools looking for opportunities and constraints and the affect they may have on delivery to customer demand.Review historical data and standard hours, update MRP system, schedules and capacity plans as needed.Review raw material availability in support of production machine schedules and on time delivery.Monitor machine downtime and maintenance schedules.Conduct monthly capacity review meetings with management.Meet daily with shop floor supervisors and weekly with the Production Control department to review machine schedules, shop load and performance.Prepare and review rate readiness capacity plans with customers and management as needed.Support and collaborate with other departments as needed.Participate in safety committee, SIOP, daily Gemba walks, Kaizen, VSM, Lean, CIP, team building and training events.

Review engineering drawing and manufacturing plans for estimated production hours in preparation for customer bid submittals.Prepared bid package for contracts manager to review and finalize.Participate in Supplier Bid Conferences.Send out RFQ’s to suppliers for raw materials and wet treatments.Reviewed customer P.O.’s, P.O. changes or contracts and entered them into MRP system.Prepared internal contract reviews for inter departmental review and approvalProvided technical advice and support for outside manufacturing suppliers.Daily visits with sub-contractors to ensure on time delivery of product.Prepared bid packages for sub-contractors.

Supervised a team responsible for the daily operations of the MD-11 program, which included receiving customer purchase orders, raw material purchasing, releasing work orders, completed shipping documents and certifications in preparation of shipping finished goods.Program reviews with senior management and customers.Tracked parts from release to shop floor to shipment to customer.Worked with outside suppliers for manufacturing offload as well as final processing and wet treatments.

Assisted with tooling concept and design, set up sheets for operations.Reviewed blue prints and ECO’s implemented by the customer.Prepare set up books and cutting tool lists for manufacturing.

Set up and operated CNC machine detail mills, 5 axis & 3 axis multi spindle gantries, and conventional rise and fall stringer mills.Program and fabricate tooling to engineering specifications and drawings.
