Broad experience that covers project management from start to finish. Projects included kick-off meetings, design reviews, approval process, project milestones, project planning, system training, customer acceptance, system maintenance, spare parts list, and project completion. Responsibilities included: maintained project budget, project schedule, punch lists, worked towards milestones, and project deliverables. Work also included customer follow ups, and vendor coordination to work towards completing team and project goals. Worked on material handling system designs and system implementation. Maintained project transparency with all customers to ensure that customers are kept apprised of project progress and challenges, while ensuring that the level of detail is appropriate for each audience. My management experience ensured that technical projects are continuously focused on business needs. Equally capable of handling large, complex projects, as well as multitasking across a number of smaller ones, adapting management style to fit the situation all to stay on track within budget. I performed the roles of engineer, installer, system trouble shooter, and instructed preventative maintenance procedures.Project Engineering responsibilities included large to small scale system design. Prepared system layout solutions for customers to show product flow and logistics at their facilities. Designed custom mechanical equipment for material handling systems. Mechanical design included transfers, lifts, blade stops, pushers, diverts, bump turns, and turntables. Material handling system design also incorporated vendor equipment, ie: scales, scanners, sorters, elevators, etc.Additional roles: estimated project costs, generated quotes, prepared documentation if required for town or city permit process, completed project documentation, coordinated and trained personnel for system application, and provided system preventative maintenance documentation.

Project management and Project Engineer responsibilities and duties, I maintained a project schedule, punch list, and project costs. I used strong leadership skills to manage and encourage teams and individuals to complete projects on time under budget. This project had a budget in the millions and was completed on time and within the budget. Roles and responsibilities included final documentation for conveyor systems and Ergonomic Lift Assist Tools with needed operator machine specifications and manuals, and spare parts lists.

Designed a Glass Batch Plant:Worked with a Structural Engineer to design and detail several floors of a glass plant. This Glass plant equipment system design included vessels, mixers, screw conveyors, weighting stations, flow control valves, and furnaces. Followed up and made sure designs were built to drawing specifications for proper fit during installation.Parts Washer System Automation: Designed and detailed machine components for handling parts for an automated parts washer. Parts needed to be sorted in bins according to part type. I helped develop a material handling system that would convey, and dump washed parts into storage bins.

Process Equipment; Piping Design & Layout:• Modified piping design drawings, P&ID’s, equipment lists, and equipment arrangements as required incorporating field changes, and processing design upgrades. Also, re-designed equipment for new projects.• Designed a liquid delivery system and a bottom entry mixer on time and within budget cost while allocating tasks, and managing different workloads.• Responsible for layouts and designs of roll-coating machines. Responsibilities included keeping baseline drawings up-to-date and having a complete understanding of piping; plant & site layout, vessels, sanitary valves, regulators, pumps, and fittings.Machine Design; Tool & Fixture Design and Mechanisms:• Responsible for the overall design, layout, fabrication release, and trouble-shooting of an automated paper-roll packaging system. I interacted with customer and vendor to meet team goals and project deliverables. I designed components that included pneumatic valves and fittings for cutting, slitting and product capture operations. • I designed and detailed an inkjet printer head system technology, using a design specification. My prototype design and testing was implemented on a breadboard to develop and test an Ink Jet print head and media capture unit. I oversaw fabrication and followed up on parts for the program. I conducted lab experiments to study ink viscosity for a print-head recycling system.Electro-Mechanical Design:• Generated and finalized electrical schematics and pneumatic prints for the single-use camera assembly line. Helped with troubleshooting and start up, which also included designing of assembly components. Mechanical Design:• Performed complex mechanical design and drafting duties while working with a fast-paced design team. I develop components and assemblies for a film perforation process, which included rotary and stationary parts. I maintained and generated Bill of Materials, machine specifications and final documentation.
