I knew on the first day of my high school computer science class that I wanted to work with software. As a java software engineer, I have built and maintained web applications, services, libraries, and comprehensive test suites. Since my introduction to bash in college, I have used Linux utilities and scripting to process logs, automate email, format data for HTML and JavaScript UI, orchestrate servers, and facilitate build processes. With newfound Python skills, I have used Flask and Raspberry Pis to enable black-box, UI-based testing of a new IoT infrastructure; as well as automate my Halloween jack-o-lantern and bedroom blinds. I am looking for opportunities to develop my skill-set, work with and enable dedicated and passionate engineers, and create value for both individuals and businesses. Software is an incredible tool that pushes the boundaries of human potential; as a software engineer, I want to make the benefits of software as accessible as possible.
