Current employee at Aspen Neuroscience, working as a Manufacturing Associate in the production of autologous dopamine neuron precursors as a treatment for Parkinson's Disease. In day-to-day manufacturing operations, I am involved in both stem cell culture and media preparation, employing proper aseptic techniques in our cleanrooms. On the back end, I am responsible for the media preparation portion of our differentiation process, including ordering required reagents, authoring and revising batch records, scheduling media processes, and training new personnel. I am fully qualified in iPSC reprogramming and cell culture and additionally have a strong grasp of the iPSC differentiation which was required to design Aspen's differentiation media preparation processes. All told, my work at Aspen is extremely rewarding and I plan to continue my growth in my career at Aspen.
