Construction of 2 x 150 MW Coal Fired Power Plant

• Provide day-to-day supervision of Contractors’ civil works • Supervise the Contractors’ mobilization of personnel and equipments.• Provide supervision for quality control of all activities, including softsoil treatment, embankment filling, pavement construction, bridge and culverts construction, etc.• Check quality of all types of materials against design, technical specifications, and contract.• Supervise the quantity measurements;• Supervise and check material testing in laboratories and at sites to ensure that all tests comply to relevant technical specifications;• Make daily records (Working Diaries) on all Contractors activities;• Make and store all records (forms, requests, reports, site minutes, minutes of material sampling, calculation sheets, test results, etc.) that are related to his supervision works)..• Request Contractors’ site engineers to strictly follow the design and specifications;• Report to Getinsa engineers and Project Manager the construction progress and issues in quality management.• Carry out other tasks assigned by the Project Manager.

• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.• Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.• Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Monitors activities at construction sites. Works to ensure construction progresses as scheduled and contract specifications are adhered to. Inspects construction site daily and works with contractors.Monitor installation of rebar for conformance to structural drawings.Assist Project Superintendent by enforcing quality control, expediting subcontractors.Continually find solutions to conflicts in drawings and specifications by conferring with the Consultants. Coordinate these solutions with the various sub-trades. Report accurate quantities for labor cost reports, accurately monitor material ledgers to determine if quantities remaining in the estimate are sufficient to complete the project in the field. Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities as required by the contract. Inspect falsework for conformance to design drawings. Review shop drawings for conformance with the contract and ensure information is communicated to Foreman and Superintendent. Ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instruction. Present oneself as a candidate for promotion by learning and understanding construction methods and developing good construction management skills.Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets and specifications for contractors.

Establish gridlines, elevations and layout partitions.Layout columns, beam and girder and alignment of columns.Assist in monitoring of elevations.Prepare survey plans and notes.Prepares and submits necessary documents and reports required by the Management.Performs other management mandated functions.

Monitor all the Site Activities.Verify all delivered construction materials.In charge in billing of accomplished project.Prepare all bid documents and important files for bidding.Prepare the weekly payroll of the workers.Perform other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
