Here are 7 things you should know about me:1) I currently work for a local Grand Rapids company called Service Express as a Customer Success Specialist. I used to work for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. I worked a total of 5 years with InterVarsity, spending 2 years at Grand Rapids Community College and 3 years at Grand Valley State University. 2) Over the past two years, I have illustrated 12 children's books, all written by self-publishing authors. I have loved drawing since I was a young kid, but never would have I imagined that I could be illustrating children's books as a side-gig. 3) I worked for NCG Cinemas in Grand Blanc, Michigan for 5 years before working for InterVarsity. Starting out in concessions, I worked my way up to management. As you can imagine, I watched a lot of movies and ate a lot of popcorn during my time there.4) I graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint in 2017 with my bachelors in Business Management. While in college, I was part of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and the Entrepreneur's Society Club. 5) I coached a middle-school basketball team while in college in 2017 and an elementary school basketball team in 2018. Although our records were nothing to brag about, I loved being able to coach young kids in a sport I really enjoyed playing while in school.6) I am skilled in leadership development, public speaking, managing, event coordinating, fundraising, biblical teaching and illustrating. 7) My lovely wife, Erika, and I have been married since December of 2021. Besides spending time with her, I enjoy playing and watching sports, traveling, reading, drawing, gaming, and other outdoor activities.
