For my PhD my research focused on unraveling signaling pathways that govern the polar extension of pollen tubes. Specifically, my work was centered on the overlap of two common cell signaling pathways, calcium-mediated and GTPase signaling. My proficiency in molecular techniques, such as genomic DNA and RNA extraction, PCR (standard, reverse transcription, and quantitative), different cloning strategies, primer design, bacterial and plant transformation, among others, coupled with a keen analytical mindset, has allowed me to make meaningful contributions to our understanding of plant genetic pathways in the form of three peer-reviewed publications. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained extensive experience in the design and execution of experiments to unravel intricate molecular mechanisms governing plant growth and development
