Over the past seven years, I've served as one of two Technology Officers for a federally funded project called the Technical Assistance and Coordination Center (TACC). The TACC supports the 60+ centers nationwide under the Technial Assistance and Dissemination Network (TA&D) umbrella who provide assistance to families of children with disabilities. In my role, I've provided video production and editing in an effort to highlight of the work of these centers. During my time, I've also been a part of several web development projects with the purpose of providing the general public awareness and access to information about the programs under the TA&D; my involvement included design and coding work along with general content management.With the closing of TACC in July 2016, I've moved on to provide video production and editing support for FHI 360's Digital Engagement team. Additionally, I'm supporting the Center for Parent Information and Resources center (CPIR) by managing their social media outreach and website maintenance for http://www.parentcenterhub.orgAs a personal project...and challenge from my former manager, I took on the task of creating an online radio station which eventually became www.trueschoolradio.net. Operating 24 hours daily, True School Radio features several playlists of music ranging from R&B to Old School Hip Hop. In addition, 13 different DJ's are featured throughout the week and actually connect live to the station's server to play their mixes and connect with their audiences.
