  In 2022 we worked extensively with Rivian Automotive to analyze, design and implement material handling solutions to increase flow, eliminate waste and improve ergonomics across the 2.3 million square foot facility in Normal, IL. I worked with Stream and Rivian Engineers collaboratively to design and build carts, flow racks and other structures using Stream’s unique Kaizen Materials. I also participated in a Shingijutsu Mega Kaizen event at Johnson Controls in Marinette, Wisconsin. Focus of the event was to make rapid improvements across value streams while implementing the Toyota Production System.In 2023 we worked with Audax Investment Management Group at Flow Control Holdings, Steel O’Brien, in the Buffalo, New York area. As an Industrial Engineering intern I focused on helping to improve picking efficiency in the warehouse operations by implementing a runner, repeater and stranger analysis of o-rings and gaskets. We relocated inventory from highest to lowest based on annual usage. We used a Kaizen approach to design and quickly implement gravity flow racks, adjustable work stations and static racking. The team was able to double picks/hour. I also participated in a Shingijutsu Mega Kaizen event at Kohler in Mosul, Wisconsin. Focus of the event was to make rapid improvements across value streams while implementing the Toyota Production System.I’m excited to help manufacturers and distributors to make meaningful improvements that can create lasting changes. I want to focus on using continuous improvement, data analysis, quality and engineering tools to make businesses better, more flexible and more competitive.My strengths are communication, teamwork, time management, and I am a very hard worker. I enjoy systems and have acquired skills in Fusion360, Python, MATLAB, Microsoft Office, and am learning applications in SolidWorks.
