Our chapter has grown to include 27 student members, supported by a dedicated executive board of five. In my role, I oversee club operations, coordinate monthly events, and establish partnerships with local programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). I also collaborate with university departments to secure funding for our initiatives.Trained by the Best Buddies Leadership Conference and Best Buddies Oregon, I bring a commitment to inclusivity, respect, and accountability in all aspects of my leadership.

During my time as a fellow in the Northwest Oregon Legislative Fellowship (NWOLF), I engaged in a rigorous 11-week program focused on developing leadership skills in public service. Hosted by Representative Bowman, the Majority Leader of the Oregon House of Representatives, the fellowship provided me with hands-on experience in the political landscape of Oregon.I collaborated with fellow participants to develop policy proposals for the upcoming legislative session, with some proposals considered for drafting into legislation. I also gained practical experience in elections by actively participating in legislative campaigns, staffing events, and networking with candidates, guest speakers, and campaign staff.

Assisted in directly targeting over 10,000 registered democrats and independents across Arizona's 1st Congressional District. Spearheaded content creation for social media and digital fundraising, with a reach of 50,000 potential donors across the United States. Attended and promoted Kurt Kroemer's candidacy at meetings organized by Channel 15 News, Arizona Clean Elections, and several democratic clubs and associations. Wrote specific messaging for democratic primary political debates held by the NAACP and various organizations.
