During my time with the National Headquarters of Alpha Chi Rho, I gained excellent experience in project management. As an intern, I worked to improve the customer journey of members. One of the greatest problems that national fraternities face is how to maintain meaningful relationships with members after graduation. Therefore, I worked alongside a staff member and devised a plan to retain members upon graduation. This plan included marketing materials, graduation gifts, and immersive programs. I am excited to see Alpha Chi Rho adopt this plan as they continue to improve member retention and engagement.

As a summer intern at Expeditors International of Washington Inc., I was able to experience the supply chain industry firsthand while gaining an appreciation for the preciseness necessary in customer interactions. I worked in the production and distribution of pharmaceutical products and had the unique opportunity to interact directly with customers.During my time at Expeditors, I collaborated with a team of coworkers to create a new warehouse production process which greatly increased distribution output. With this increased efficiency, our output rose from 1-2 customer orders every two or three days to 1-2 orders per day.

I also sharpened my creative problem-solving skills as I learned to adapt to and solve any issues that arose. One such issue was when the dishwashing machine on the first floor broke right before dinner. Therefore I had to create a way to transport and wash the dishes between two different levels of the building.
