I am the Deputy Director of the Office of Regulatory Management, Office of the Governor, in the State of Virginia. I work on regulatory policy across several policy verticals such as education, public safety, and artificial intelligence, and help to carry out the duties of the Office of Regulatory Management as set forth by Executive Order 19 and 30, issued by Governor Youngkin.When I am not serving the Governor, I am running my company, Gracchi Strategies. A government affairs and policy consulting firm I founded to help veterans with their business ventures.In 2017 I attended Dartmouth College on a full cost of attendance leadership scholarship through the POSSE foundation, where I studied English and Classics. In English, I received High Honors by a vote from the department for exceptional individual work and for writing a thesis manuscript of poems under the supervision of Vievee Francis. During my time at Dartmouth, I employed a wide range of study techniques through a diverse subject range to grow a deep understanding of the role militaries and citizen-warriors play in shaping the societies they defend. Before Dartmouth, I was a Corporal in the Marine Corps Infantry, with deployments to Afghanistan, Southeast Asia and Australia. I operated as the point man in Operation Enduring Freedom 11.2 from 2011-12. Upon my return from deployment, I received a citation as the youngest squad leader in my battalion and later became the company training Non-Commissioned Officer.
