CurrentF3 Oncology E1 Bone Marrow TransplantUnder direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides direct and indirect care to the patient. Duties include, but are not limited to: - Assesses and documents vital signs on stable patients requiring vital signs.- Accurately observes, records and reports patient information.- Communicating the status of the patient to the Registered Nurse or other representitives in the care team.- Assists patient with and/or provides care related to activities of daily living.- Provides sitter duties when needed for a patient.- Performs routine patient care (hygiene, nutrition, elimination, measuring I/O's) utilizing universal precautions under the direction and supervision of a RN as assigned- Charting patient information and status reports via EPIC- Carrying out and assisting with patient orders put in by the attending physician/PA/NP- Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws.- Maintaining a sterile/clean environment appropriate to patient care, including compliancy with airborne, droplet, and contact precautions.- Making sure patients are compliant with careplans to ensure smooth bone marrow transplants and chemotherapies- Strictly documenting patient inputs and outputs
