In addition, I led several other research and development (R&D) projects in fluoropolymer new product area.• Because of our technology knowledge sharing with DuPont colleagues globally, the business gained new products at our joint venture and implemented process improvements at our other plant sites.• The business achieved successful worldwide next generation resin conversion in 2013 in large part because of my technology group's recipe synthesis and scale-up work; under my leadership, this research group was rebuilt by hiring and developing several scientists and numerous technicians.• My team increased capacity of semiworks R&D batches by 20% to enable completion of more research at the same fixed cost.• My team achieved 0 injuries and 0 serious incidents in my 9 years of management of this OSHA high hazard process.• My team delivered tens of millions of dollars in extra capacity on 1 product line while I was serving as leader on this critical cross functional team.
