I have experience in sales, I worked at a bike rental shop called "Wheel Fun Bike Rentals" in Seattle. I would approach customers at this job, asking what they are looking for and how I could help. At first, I was timid to talk to customers but after doing it enough I gained a lot of confidence and got really good at customer service. I worked at Wheel Fun for 2 years, and my experience at this company was great. I learned how to be a part of a team and communicate with co-workers. I played basketball all my life and learned how to work with a team through basketball to be a leader. I was on varsity since my sophomore year of high school. I was the team captain for my junior and senior years. Being team captain I learned how to be a leader and how to communicate better. I would organize events for my team in the off-season to get us closer together. My team went to state my senior year which was a really special accomplishment for me. I am also in a fraternity called Pi Kappa Phi at Washington state. We host many events for our philanthropy called the Ability Experience. The ability experience is an organization to help make people with disabilities lives easier. Our fraternity usually hosts 2 or 3 events a year to donate to this organization. I am in charge of organizing these events in my fraternity. This has taught me how to handle money and plan events .
