Hey, I'm Chris (online handle is often NoLifeKing)!I'm a senior (well, not that old..) developer and systems administrator.I spend my work days by maintaining the servers at MultiNet Interactive AB, but I also poke around a lot in the code for the SaaS that we provide.On my spare time I usually play games, or build my own tools for different communities, games and so on.My most recent engagement, has been with CurseForge/Overwolf, where I am volunteering as one of the Community Champions (as well as moderator in the other Discords), and my "job" is basically to give support when I can, and make sure that the Discords become a safe place to be. But I also code utilities to help out with said support, and other small nifty tools that I saw potential use cases for.I've basically been programming/coding/scripting since I was a kid and my father brought home an Packard Bell with Windows 3.1, from which I started modifying things in QBasic, since you had some games in there, that you could tweak the code for.. and it's kind of how I ended up here, as a "professional" developer and systems administrator.Not currently looking for new opportunities in new work places, but never say never. :)I sometimes poke around with some open source projects as well, as I like to keep my brain occupied while I do other things, it's also not uncommon that I sit around and watch Netflix and code, or sing songs while coding, because, why not? It helps me process thoughts and problems in background threads instead of just trying to force something to come out..I also run my own service for the game called Elite: Dangerous, it's called Journal Limpet, and is a journal collecting service (with some integrations to other 3rd party tools), it's been up since December 2020.And other than that, I have made my own Destiny 2 overlay (in need of some TLC though), which reads information through the public API, to grab a sort of todo-list, that you can view at all times while in game, without losing focus... and further more, I'm also doing a lot of community projects for CurseForge (can be found in the CurseForge Community GitHub org).I'm also open for small freelancing projects, given that I have the time to invest in it, of course. :)
