Nolin has practiced in the field of graphic design for almost twenty years. Long before the computer age, Nolin has developed and created many designs from illustrations to customized hand-typography as well as painting displays on billboards and murals for marketing and sales. At first he started off as an illustrator/painter–freelance artist then channeled himself into the field of commercial arts. Companies he worked with are Disney Consumer Products, Virgin Records, General Electric Inc., Barnes & Nobel Books, Good Housekeeping Magazine, Pioneer Entertainment USA, World Music Distribution, Borders Books, Sony Pictures and Sony Music Entertainment, Tower Records Inc., and The Los Angeles Unified School District. Such clients he worked and networked with were from packaging designs to collateral works for UB40, Cheb Mami, Sting, "Josie & the Pussycats" movie/film, George Clinton & The Parliament Funkadelic, and Stevie Wonder's Grammy Award dedication plaque. As a full-time graphic artist, Nolin managed to work on side projects and opened his studio called Nolsterisk.Specialties: Clientele and marketing/sales in retail merchandising, Initial concepts and problem solving visually & structurally from beginning to end of project.
