I undertook key responsibilities including handling queries, managing telephone communications, and coordinating with housekeeping and conference office personnel. Ensuring accurate guest registers and compiling detailed reports for the Residential Operations Division and Conference Manager were integral aspects of my role. This experience provided me with valuable practical insights into administrative operations, enhancing my organizational abilities and interpersonal skills significantly.

I demonstrated a strong commitment to wellness, diversity, gender, and sexual diversities by organising inclusive awareness programs. I facilitated residents' adaptation to the university's multicultural environment, familiarising myself with relevant policies on equity, sexual offenses, discrimination, and harassment. This role enabled me to educate and support fellow residents, fostering open-mindedness and inclusivity. I implemented activities to raise awareness and promote holistic wellbeing, creating a supportive platform for mutual learning and growth within the residence.

Took part in promoting holistic wellness throughout the student community for all students. I, along with other student in the programme were trained throughout the year on different topics related to all the 5 wellness domains. As a wellness leader I worked in liaison between the student body and the four divisions of wellness at Rhodes University, which are the counselling entre, health care centre, career centre and HIV office. I developed and implemented campaigns throughout the year, linked to the four divisions of wellness. As a wellness leader I provided support to students with different problems and linked these students to appropriate referral sources available on campus.
