I recently completed my four months of work-based learning at kong bar and grill(of which I can not find here on linkedin) and I can confidently state that doing everything practically and on my own taught me a lot. I can count time management,multitasking,and being able to think on my feet as abilities I have approved in. as much as the hospitality industry is fast paced but it also taught me to be focused,professional,improve my interpersonal and communication skills and also be able to work in a team as that also creates a good working environment.
