I am a Social Sciences Honours student at the University of Cape Town, specialising in Social Development. My academic focus is complemented by leadership roles and I am passionate about community engagement as evidenced by my volunteer experience in mentorship, mental health and violence prevention through SHAWCO UCT. These are emboldened by my work as an intern with I Hear You, a human rights organisation. Fluent in four languages, I excel in teamwork, problem-solving and time management. I have developed strong interpersonal and leadership skills through roles such as the Culture and Transformation representative, residence mentor and front desk assistant and I am excited to apply my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in social development and community outreach.
