Their cornerstone event is the annual weekend long conference, however they also hold INK events at organizations, companies and colleges throughout the year in addition to their Fellows Program. In preparation for deciding who the final 20 fellows should be for 2014, I participated in candidates' interviews, conducted reference checks, reviewed applications, created PowerPoint documents for decision meetings, took minutes at decision meetings and wrote the profiles for the 20 fellows. Additionally, I conducted research and created resources that will be given to the fellows accepted into the program. I also conducted research for my supervisor in preparation for her meetings with a large technology company on why startup companies in India are mostly failing and what can be done differently to prevent this.In preparation for the annual conference, I devised five diverse workshop ideas for one of the INK Live partners, Levi's Jeans. I compiled these ideas into a formal proposal, which was sent to Levi's to make a final decision for which workshop they should facilitate. As mentioned above, INK hosts various events throughout the year with a variety of different partners. In preparation for one of these events, which was held at a local college, I created various theme ideas for the event which would engage engineering students. The ideas were sent to the college and they decided on a final idea based on the choices. The theme idea they chose was Individuals Ignited by Creative Spark. On the day of the event, I was there early to help set up and to make sure everything ran smoothly. There were around 1,200 students present.
