Employee training and development including new hire orientation and leadership training. Overseeing needs assessments to determine training and the type of training necessary to improve perfomance. Evaluating overall employee perfomance to decide on further additional training and orientation. Organising professional development seminars and workshops

- Interpreting and ensuring subordinate employees are in compliance with the agencies policies, union agreements and laws- Provide leadership and manage grant administration unit- Solving problems and developing unit procedures- Keeping records up to date and conducting meetings- Manage the employee hiring process and updating job descriptions- Ensure compliance with the agency processes for interview and selection of employees- Manage employees and team performance- Provide new employee orientation and providing adequate training for employees- Investigate complaints and performance concerns- Implementing disciplinary action in consultation with appointment authority and human resources- Accept resignations and approve leave
