About Noor Bibi
I am a recent graduate of Luther College. I got my bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. I am an enthusiast of brain, the unknown mysteries of our brain fascinates me. I am currently working in Sleep Behavior and Neurophysiology Lab in the Center for Sleep Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. My work involves analysis of complex EEG, EMG, and EOG for purpose of studying REM Behavior Disorder. I am also responsible for recruitment, consenting, billing, and other processes involved in clinical research. My previous work experience involves three years of taxidermy of birds for natural history Science Museum, it helped me develop skills like excellent hand-eye coordination and working independently. I have also worked extensively with data processing, image analysis and visualization. I love research, especially research related to Neuroscience. Skills: Recruitment, Consenting, Polysomnography, SPSS, Microsoft Excel, Bioinformatics, Imaging with TEM, SEM, and confocal/fluorescent Microscope, PCR and DNA barcoding, python and data visualization (basics).
