As the Vice President for CASI at Toronto Metropolitan University, I play a key role in overseeing operational activities to support our chapter’s mission of engaging and educating students about the aerospace industry. My responsibilities include:- Event Operations: Coordinating logistics for various CASI events, including securing venues, managing event timelines, and overseeing essential operations to create impactful and smoothly run events.- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaising with industry professionals, companies, and speakers to ensure meaningful participation in our events, enhancing networking and learning opportunities for attendees.- Event Planning: Assisting with high-profile events like the MHI Workplace Tour and our Celestial Frontier Space Conference, where I supported all stages of planning and execution to foster an enriching experience for students.- Upcoming Conference Preparation: Currently involved in planning a new aerospace-focused conference for 2025, working on everything from venue arrangements to event programming to ensure another successful initiative.Through my role, I bring together my operational expertise and passion for aerospace, helping to create memorable, educational experiences that connect students with industry insights and opportunities.

- I assist with coordinating programs and initiatives like the Canadian Space Conference and Space Apps Challenge that promote and develop any space opportunities in the community.I am part of the planning committee for the space conference and help with any interviews for the open team positions. I would also help with outreach and media closer to the conference and other management tasks.- I am also part of the Space Apps Challenge and help organize the webinar series, partnerships, and workshops.- Possibly working with the Act in Space hackathon, where we usually collaborate with the European Space Agency and other departments from universities.

• Successful launch in Spaceport America 2023 of our one-stage rocket (Phobos) that reached an approximate apogeeof 10,864 ft with a maximum velocity reached as 1225 ft/s.• Performing CFD analysis on a one-stage rocket powered by an M1230 rocket motor, with a launch weight of 37.9 lbsand a maximum Mach number of Mach 0.81.• Studying and analyzing the structural loads and effect of dynamics on the rocket using ANSYS.• Help with the calculations and component making for structure stressed under subsonic loads using software likeSolidWorks and OpenRocket. Practicing CFD analysis on the rocket’s fin to calculate the coefficient of drag, the dragforce, and the pressure contour on the component using ANSYS Fluent analysis.• Work as a team and sub-team to implement innovative systems to improve the rocket’s performance and structuralintegrity

As the VP Operations for the Aerospace Course Union (ACU), I am responsible for ensuring smooth logistical support and efficient planning across a wide range of student-focused events. My role includes:• Organizing hands-on technical workshops, such as CATIA and ANSYS tutorials, aimed at enhancing students' practical skills.• Coordinating end-to-end logistics for all ACU-hosted events, from venue arrangements to on-site support, to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.• Managing communication with relevant individuals, including guest speakers, industry professionals, and academic faculty, to secure their participation and enhance event quality.• Designing and executing merchandise plans that promote ACU’s brand, from concept to distribution, ensuring cohesive branding for our course union.• Handling various operations-related tasks to maximize event success and create opportunities for aerospace students to grow and connect within the field.

Role:- Validate NASTRAN beam models for CRJ700/900/1000 and DHC8-Q400 aircraft.- Update and enhance the legacy In-Service Engineering Stress Analysis (ISE) Tool.- Conduct practical validation exercises by comparing NASTRAN results with SEAS200 for hard landing incidents.- Implement user feedback and corrections to improve the ISE Tool.- Collaborate with In-Service Stress Engineers to ensure accurate stress analysis post-incident.Deliverables:- Comprehensive Design Study Summary (DSS) documents detailing the results of NASTRAN beam model validation.- An updated and improved Legacy ISE Tool incorporating the validated NASTRAN beam models.- Enhanced analysis methodologies integrated into the ISE Tool based on user inputs.- Detailed reports and presentations on validation and improvement outcomes.- Reliable tools for evaluating landing gear structural integrity after abnormal incidents.

1. I assist with coordinating programs and initiatives that promote and develop leadership skills within TMU’s community.2. I help plan and run all aspects of leadership programming across campus including, but not limited to a Student Leadership Conference, Speaker Series, Workshops, a Peer-to-Peer Leadership Coaching Program, Volunteer Trips/Opportunities, and The Level Up Co-Curricular Record and Micro-credential Program.3. I liaise with various on- and off-campus teams/organizations to help coordinate the logistics of select small (e.g. workshops) to large-scale (e.g. conference) events and report to the Leadership Development Facilitator.

Collaborating with Professor Bramesfeld and his team, my responsibilities include:1. Collaborating on the development of a rotary table system for the wind tunnel. This system incorporates advanced mechanisms such as a stepper motor to facilitate automatic angle changes and smooth system movement.2. Assisting in the implementation of the CREATeV glider project. This involves actively contributing to the project's goals and objectives and working with the team to achieve successful outcomes.3. Acquiring knowledge and skills in creating 3D wind tunnel models, as well as comprehending the operational aspects of the new rotary system. Additionally, I am engaged in learning Python integration for coding the stepper motor to ensure seamless functionality within the system.Through my involvement in these activities, I aim to contribute to the advancement of wind tunnel technology and gain valuable experience in the fields of mechanical engineering, project management, and programming.
