Born in Amman, Jordan, with origins in Jerusalem, Palestine, I seek to rise above every challenge and apply this same creativity to my work as an Art Director. I specialize in corporate branding, advertising campaigns, packaging, and festival design.Over the last 17 years, I’ve created quality branding and logos and designed memorable advertising campaigns and festivals for clients including Audi and Lexus, Heineken International, and the United Nations. I’ve worked for a range of employers from small independent magazines to major international advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi and Leo Burnett.As an Art Director and Graphic Designer, I seek to understand the target market and audience to deliver designs that are simple, memorable, and clear. I create strong, long-lasting brand identities. I work closely with my clients, keeping them informed and meeting deadlines.To increase my exposure to cutting-edge design, I’ve attended design weeks, workshops, music festivals, and award ceremonies around the world. I’ve lived and worked in Amman and Toronto; visited Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Montreal, New York, and Vancouver; and traveled throughout Egypt, India, Italy, Lebanon, and Sri Lanka.I am also a classically trained pianist and avid music fan. I enjoy mixing my interests in music and art when creating branding for major music festivals like Sandbox and Shorelines. I’m proud to have contributed to the design of Sandbox, Egypt’s biggest electronic music festival, which grew from 300 attendees to more than 5,000 concertgoers after 10 years of consistent branding.With native fluency in English and Arabic as well as knowledge of international trends and Middle Eastern culture, I bring extensive design experience and relevant contextual knowledge to add value to any team.
