ADVISA is a leadership consulting firm, and we teach and develop leaders to effectively manage their professional lives through assessments, training, and consulting sessions. We use scientific data to provide relevant insight into how to improve professional relationships, develop leaders, and achieve business goals. As a Training and Client Service Specialist, I teach people how to use the tools we make available to them in a variety of professional situations, as well as provide friendly, expedient tactical service.

In Employee Engagement, I focus on ensuring that all employees are supported equally and have the same access to resources for professional and personal development at FitzMark. I conduct studies and, through them, make recommendations to leadership on how best to increase engagement in their respective departments. I work primarily on employee recognition programs, employee wellness initiatives, project management and administration, and effectively implementing the results of our behavioral assessments. In addition, I partner with each department to standardize and streamline their processes and record SOPs.

FitzMark is a 3rd-party logistics company specializing in moving any kind of product where it needs to go. My responsibilities include prospecting for new customers, creating and developing relationships with them and thereby creating a lasting partnership with any company I work with.

At Aerotek, my main responsibility was sourcing for candidates that were the best fit for the open positions I worked on. I would then take candidates through our process, which included conducting a face-to-face interview, checking two or more references for each candidate, and seeing them through their client interview. I would also help to develop new business and maintain customer relationships through a variety of different channels.

My responsibilities include coordinating with the Editor in Chief on themes, scouting people of interest, conducting interviews, writing journalistic and creative pieces, and curating artists' contributions.

The biggest four areas of this position are marketing and recruitment, event planning, research and presentation, and prospect evaluation. In addition, I am responsible for outreach, recruitment, and events having to do with historically underrepresented student groups. I also regularly conduct research and arrange internal professional development opportunities surrounding issues faced by underrepresented students in higher education.
