Seeking to leverage my expertise in science content, curriculum development, and educational leadership, I am a dedicated former educator who is now looking to transition into a new role beyond the classroom. With my 7 years of diverse teaching experience, I bring a wealth of expertise in science content, curriculum development, and educational leadership. I am deeply committed to advancing science education and addressing pressing issues such as climate change. My passion for these areas is reflected in my ongoing pursuit of a master's degree in science education, as well as my current research focusing on the use of simulations to teach my students the harmful effects of an increase in ocean acidification. I am particularly interested in leveraging my background and skills to contribute meaningfully to the science education sector, where I can make a tangible impact on shaping the next generation into informed global citizens.My background includes 5 years of teaching middle school science, during which I served as a science content lead teacher and actively contributed to school-wide culture as a basketball coach, international trip leader, staff member on the board. Before my role as science educator, I spent 2 years teaching English as a second language to students of all ages in Prague, honing my ability to connect with diverse learners and adapt instructional strategies to meet their needs.
