I started as a surgical technologist in 1994 and worked about five years in surgery. I bounced around a few other services industry jobs until finally becoming a RN in Dec 2012. Jan 2013, I began working at Christus Spohn Shoreline, Corpus Christi. I spent two years in the OR there and moved on to South Texas Surgical Center where I spent another two years. I started travel nursing Aug 2016. As a travel nurse, i spent two years at St. David's Medical Center, Austin, Tx, taking a short eight week run in Dallas at a surgery center. I am currently in DFW area and have worked at Baylor Medical Trophy club and currently under contract at USMD Ft. Worth. I am trained in all surgical services, but have not done open hearts for about four years.
