After completing my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education followed by my Masters Degree in Psychology, I managed a multi site non-profit agency in Texas. My responsibilities included serving as a case manager for children with disabilities, human resources management, budgeting, program planning, compliance, and professional development and training of staff. I continued my career in professional development and adult education as a consultant, trainer, and eventually an instructor at local community colleges. Currently, I work for a residential facility for adults with intellectual disabilities in Florida, where I continue to manage the professional development requirements for employees as well as monitor service delivery within the organization.
