During my time as a Co-op Trainee at the General Department for Controllership & Reporting, I contributed to the transition from Cash Basis to Accrual Basis while handling bookkeeping tasks. I also worked on different operations like Purchases, Payment, and Revenues, and managed tasks on systems such as Oracle, Etimad platform, and ERP system. The opportunity provided me with invaluable experience to increase my knowledge in the International Public Sector Accounting Standards, particularly through my involvement in the transition from cash basis to the accrual basis project.

Leading the club involved providing supervision and guidance to all committees while organizing visits to various companies such as KPMG, Accrual Accounting Center, CMA, EY, and STC. Additionally, organizing different events to increase awareness of accounting was essential, alongside supervising the budget and allocating funds according to the club’s needs. This incredible experience enhanced and developed my personal and professional skills, fostering growth and learning opportunities.

A Brief overview of ACCATHON:ACCATHON, organized by the accounting club, is an exciting event that features a Business Incubator showcasing five startup businesses competing against each other.Live it corner concept:The “Live it corner” is an entertainment business comprising multiple rooms, with each room representing a particular TV show.
