I currently work as a Front-End Lead supervisor at DICKS sporting goods. I teach and train new employees how to work at the front of the store at the cash registers. I also teach how to resolve conflict and what great customer service looks like. I implore other workers to develop and evolve their professionalism skills and take initiative in my tasks.

I was given a great responsibility and opportunity to grow in the workplace as well as to teach during my time at MOD. I managed up to six people per shift and learned what it meant to be a leader who not only takes ownership of her own actions but of her teams as well. I learned how to be mature in the workplace and how to lead with confidence and respect even when I was younger than those I was in charge of.

At the Real Seafood Company, I was taught how to be professional whether through what I wear, my attitude, and body language. As a fine dining restaurant and being the first-person guests see when they enter the building, it was up to me to make the first impression in their dining experience. In order to impress and keep a professional manner that both welcomed and impressed guests I had to learn to be calm even in a rush. I also learned how to multitask through cleaning, seating, and setting tables for new guests coming in to eat.
