I have hired and supervised staff to best coordinate their strengths to reach the goals of the programs I manage.I seek to transfer my skills and experience to a career in population health management, a field which has long fascinated me.Results of the child support criminal justice program that I created and implemented include:Obtained orders for genetic marker paternity testing and facilitated collection of 2,013 incarcerated alleged fathersFacilitated adjudication of paternity with inclusive paternity testing results for 1,587 childrenReduced the percentage of cases with current support orders over minimum from 73 percent in 2001 to 20 percent in 2014Closed cases in which incarcerated parents had no chance of release during their children’s minority, waiving $5.8 million in unpayable arrearsDOR criminal justice staff meet individually with approximately 5,000 parents each year incarcerated at the state Department of Correction, nine county correctional systems, and re-entry and treatment programs in four counties – at a minimum, these meetings include a review of their child support case status and next steps needed – addressing child support issues is now an integral part of the correctional and re-entry processAutomated data match updates the child support computer system with incarceration information on more than 5,000 parents every month
