Main position was working as a sea turtle conservation intern. •Identified and marked sea turtle nests during daily patrols down South Core Banks. •Collected and recorded field data and samples on turtle nests, and used a variety of computer programs to compile and report data. •Operated and maintained hand tools, sampling equipment, and all-terrain vehicles.

•Conducted undergraduate research at NCSU's CAAE on seasonal shifts in phytoplankton and zooplankton communities in Lake Johnson in Raleigh, NC.•Presented findings to peers to complete required course work for NCSU's Applied Ecology Minor.
