I am an experienced partnership and program manager with a demonstrated history of skill in relationship building, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) work, event planning, strategic grant-making, and community outreach. At CJP, my role as Manager of Community Impact Grants and The Miriam Fund involves leading programs that distribute nearly $1 million annually to our grantees, enhancing the lives of women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals. With a bachelor's degree in political science and government from Boston University, as well as significant undergraduate experiences with fostering inclusive spaces, I apply my academic foundation to real-world challenges by thinking critically, leading impactful learning opportunities for our grantees and volunteers, and fostering significant advancements in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives. Through trust building and collaboration with my colleagues I have been able to scaffold significant DEIB developments, such as starting the first-ever employee resource group/affinity group at CJP. My skillset in the DEIB space including public speaking, conflict mitigation, and program management, have been pivotal in strengthening these connections and driving our mission forward. I believe in leading with empathy and equity at the forefront, and am passionate about supporting diverse perspectives, sustainable and human-centered policy and philanthropy, and creating caring and inclusive communities (both at work and outside of it!)
