Nora Wilhelm is a passionate leader dedicated to paradigm shifts towards a more just, regenerative, and beautiful future for all. Her journey has spanned global activism, youth empowerment, and catalysing systems change.From an early age, Nora embraced her role as a changemaker, and set out on a quest to make her best contribution to a future where people and nature can thrive. She engaged with international forums, passionately advocated for critical global issues, and interned as well as volunteered with NGOs focused on sustainable development, education, and social equity.Nora's journey led her to the European Youth Parliament (EYP), where she played various pivotal roles. She served as President of the Swiss EYP chapter and orchestrated Laax 2016, the 83rd International EYP Session in Switzerland, uniting over 350 young Europeans under the theme 'young and innovative ideas for a sustainable future' and the patronage of Federal Councillor Didier Burkhalter. Following her EYP leadership, Nora co-founded collaboratio helvetica, championing systemic change towards the Agenda 2030 in Switzerland. Her outstanding contributions earned recognition from institutions such as Forbes (30 under 30), UNEP, UNESCO, and the Swiss government. Nora has shared her insights at esteemed gatherings alongside luminaries like Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, Jane Goodall, Kate Raworth and Satish Kumar.Drawing from her personal journey with burnout, Nora founded the well • change atelier in 2023. This initiative makes art-based tools accessible to all, fostering connection, creativity, and well-being in an ever-evolving world.After a MSt in Social Innovation at the University of Cambridge, Nora decided to contribute to bridging the practice to academia gap in her field by pursuing a part-time and self-funded PhD next to her work in the field. She is an award-winning young leader, an esteemed systems change practitioner, and an innovative researcher.
