Our goal was to determine how adjusting certain hybrid vehicle parameters affects the driveability and the efficiency of a hybrid electric vehicle. My main tasks involved:-design, implementation and optimization of a rule-based hybrid vehicle controller in a SiL environment using Matlab/Simulink-implementing strategies for efficient hybrid mode state-switching, torque distribution and battery SOC management-building a framework for the co-simulation of the hybrid vehicle controller, engine and vehicle models-data analysis to find the optimal trade-off between the driveability and the efficiency of the vehicleThis topic also served as the basis for my master's thesis
