Debitel AG was in 2005 a mobile communications company (IT service provider) with €2.8B in annual revenue, 2,700 employees and with 10M customer through-out Europe. Responsibilities: Represented the company and CEO with key stake-holders, including policymakers, industry representatives and the media; executed the CEO’s external communication; created internal communications program; and managed lobbying and political networking programs. Directly managed two employees. Topics - Competition and innovation in telecommunications; mobile communications; regulation and the role of broadband. - Change management and business transformation.

Responsibilities: Established and communicated the CEO’s position within the political arena and to the general public; Promoted the CEO’s priorities within industry associations and policy discussions; Managing the Management Board's agenda. D21 (Deutschland 21, which stands for Germany in the 21st Century) is a public-private partnership between the German government and private industry to drive growth and employment within the technology sector. Membership included 300 enterprises. Tools: Concepts, Projects, Public Relations. Responsibilities: Managed internal and external communications; developed commentaries, responses, press releases and speeches for the President; managed relations with the press, politicians and industry, including media events, interviews, fairs, studies and on-line; served as the program’s public representative; solicited additional memberships to expand programs; and mediated nego-tiations between the public and private sector. Directly managed up to four employees.Topics- Digital Society; eGovernment; security and trust in the internet.- eHealth; eLearning; eSkills; digital integration; eDemocracy.
