Norbert was born in Brakpan, in 1964 from German parents who emigrated from Germany in the early 1950'sHe attended primary school in Brakpan where he became the head boy.Completing his high school at Hoogland High he moved on to RAU University to study languages.His love of the arts started at an early age, although no formal training other than workshops under the auspices of Dianne Johnson-Ackerman his art flourished.Today Norbert owns a prestigious art school with some 60 students from all ages and races.His students thrive under his watchful eye. He guides them through the very basic to a stage where they are able to develop their own styles. Many of Norbert's students have received numerous certificates of the highest accolades across a large spectrum of art competitions.
