About Norbert Madar

Norbert is now a Senior Manager at PwC Hungary, and leader of Digital Commerce team. He joined PwC in 2024. He is a seasoned expert in e-commerce, parcel logistics and digital transaction markets with a 14 year track record in consulting, strategy and related market research projects. Norbert is working mainly with market leading retaliers and service providers within the CEE region in various topics such as go-to-market, business model strategy, and product and service developments. His research skills and digital market know-how effectively supports the data-driven decision-making. Before PwC he ran his own consulting firm, GKID for 11 years, which was acquired by PwC in 2024.Norbert is known for establishing the most comprehensive e-commerce research series in the Hungarian digital commerce market, aswell as for creating the first public Hungarian e-commerce ranking list. Since 2022, he has been the host of a podcast channel focusing on the digital commerce industry, a founding board member of the Digital Retail Alliance in Hungary, and member of Ecommerce Hungary. He is a regular speaker at conferences.
