In home support services for adult with Down's Syndrome and for elderly woman with COPD, cognitive decline and a stroke.

Working at the Arroyo Grande High School I worked in the moderate to severe classroom 1:1 and the following year I was utilized in classrooms with students needing a variety of interventions.

I started volunteering at Coastal writing curriculum for adult small groups as well as the training, and support of life group leaders. The head pastor offered me the position of Children & Families Minister. Running this particular ministry department meant utilizing many different skills. I developed curriculum for preschool to sixth grade, managed volunteers, parents, teachers and caregivers. I helped students and families bond by hosting special events, meeting them outside of church and offering Chrisitian counseling that was overseen by the head pastor.

→ Coordinated with an interdisciplinary teams comprised of OT, PT, social workers, and visiting nurses to create and implement IEPs.

→ Managed a team of counselors in a solutions-oriented family-style group home for SED teenage girls.→ Worked with a team to develop and implement treatment plans.→ Guided clients in effective therapeutic exercises.
