Gentreo is a next-generation online estate planning solution, supporting users throughout their lives with a plan that's easy to keep updated as life and laws change. Users can create all of their state-specific documents, store them and other important information in a secure digital vault, and share access with agents and loved ones so everyone knows where to turn if something happens. As Director of Marketing & Communications for this seed-funded Boston startup, I defined, oversaw and implemented the communications and marketing strategy. In addition to strategic direction and oversight, my ongoing responsibilities included curating messaging and materials for omnichannel marketing and sales initiatives (B2B and B2C), onboarding/launch and ongoing campaign project management for B2B customers & partners, website performance analysis & reporting, and vendor oversight/collaboration. Notable projects include: - Managed the public launch of Gentreo's new plans and features - Conducted a messaging rebrand to expand into B2B markets - Provided technical support and implemented the content strategy to rebrand and transfer Gentreo's public website from Squarespace to WordPress - Originated and developed Gentreo's B2C email automation flows and customer journey maps - Developed highly specialized B2C and B2B marketing campaigns focused on specific customer segments, supported by keyword and SEO research - Secured key press placements such as the WSJ, CNBC, Blavity.com
