San Francisco Bay Area

Start-up social enterprise preparing a new generation to provide innovative and effective leadership to address the global challenges of the 21st.• Led GCY’s expansion into Latin America and Africa from a class of 11 Fellows to 60 over 3 years while maintaining program costs and quality.• Set up and managed all aspects of GCY’s program including training & curriculum, partnership building, evaluation, staffing, budgeting, relationship management with parents, risk management, program policy.• Built a collaborative and effective international team of 10 members working across 4 countries with diverse languages and working cultures.

One of ten Fellows selected worldwide from a pool of 300 applicants for a year- long fellowship program for leadership development and extended field placement with an Acumen portfolio company. Assigned as Project Manager at AyurVAID Hospitals- a startup hospital chain delivering affordable care for chronic medical conditions by integrating traditional Ayurveda medicine with modern allopathic practice.

While pursuing a graduate degree, joined the Governance Team for five months to identify relevant impact metrics for the organization’s governance interventions, and to create tools for sharing best practices with internal and external stakeholders.

Consistently advanced to positions of increased responsibility culminating in a senior management role with oversight over a manufacturing facility with 90 employees. Managed budget, capital expenditure, inventory and cost controls. Maintained high standards in sanitation and safety and evaluated and improved the key performance indicators system.

Managed Frito Lay’s $1.3MM Capital Investments budget for the Panama operations - Elevated the on-time project completion rate from 80% to 95% through enhanced cash disbursement planning and coordination with suppliers.- Led a cross functional team to increase local compliance with global auditing standards by improving the end-to-end capital investment process. - Created scenario planning tools to identify, analyze and select capital investment projects in alignment with the organization’s annual and long-term strategic and business plans.

Proposed and designed a Rotational Training Program for which I was the inaugural management trainee. Included three-month projects in Marketing and Sales, two weeks in Corporate Finance and five months in the Manufacturing department covering the roles of production planning and plant supervisor.
