Over the years Norm has held positions not only as a technician but has also held positions as a Project Manager, Operations Manager, Sales Rep, Regional Sales Manager as well as President/CEO of his own company. Norm has worked for many top security integrators, distributors and manufacturers. He has also and currently acts as a consultant and system designer.Norm started his career in 1989 when he took a job as a helper for a local alarm company. Within 6 months he was a lead installer and running jobs on his own.He could not get the security bug out of his system and spent the next 30+ years refining his knowledge and approach to all security markets and applications. His time in the field brings knowledge of intrusion alarm, access control, CCTV, fire/life safety systems, networking and now Proactive Video Monitoring. Norm holds electrical contractors' licenses in California and Nevada. Along with his vast knowledge of low voltage systems, he also is an electrician. Norm says "what gives me an advantage as a salesperson is that I am technical. I not only can think out of the box, I can also install what's inside the box." This technical knowledge allows Norm to really be an asset for his clients. Helping them to fully understand the products and services they are buying and helping them to feel comfortable with their decision by acting more as a consultant than a salesperson. "A true salesperson can sell anything" says Norm, "as long as they fully understand the product they are selling."Norm is pleased to embark on his current journey as a Regional Sales Manager with Netwatch North America.
