Managed and oversaw all aspects of our eighteen employees in housekeeping and maintenance departments. Structured and implemented programs and policies to increase productivity in housekeeping through reoccurring training and pride and ownership of our property and workplace. Fostered a teamwork/open-door environment conducive to positive dialogue across the organization. Personal efforts were cited as the driving force behind branch’s employee-retention rate of 95% within an industry where high turnover is the norm. Operated and annual budget of over 850,000, profit and loss monthly reviews as well as average wage rate and adhering to budgeted hours by corrective scheduling. Brought workers’ compensation program and general liability claims into full compliance through implementing a safety first attitude and procedural standards. Regional Management over site of three malls in Iowa and Illinois, with over 3 million square feet of multi-tenant space, reoccurring management training on employee retention, budgeting, profit and loss, scheduling, increase productivity, safety training, policy and procedure, workers comp and general liability procedure and reduction plans, quarterly property evaluations and equipment needs. Participated in over 14 new account start-ups accounts for Simon Properties and Macerich in Iowa, South Dakota, Colorado and Texas, property evaluation for short and long term needs, and goals to succeed.
