Until my retirement in June 2012, my role was a combination of quality management and account management. Since then I have continued to consult at Priority Press using my knowledge of the Quality Management System.I started the Priority Press quality management system from scratch, writing dozens of procedures and work instructions, conducting staff training and overseeing the ISO certification process, including audits.My approach to account management is an outgrowth of having owned my own printing business for 17 years. I've developed a consultative approach to sales/service, helping clients with print projects and even occasionally preparing art myself. I am sensitive to my customers' needs: I won't recommend papers that are not readily available or graphic approaches that can't possibly fit within their budget.My operations range is wide. As owner of Press 96, I did my firm's strategic planning, marketing, hiring, accounting and sales. I established our workflow and procedures and was responsible for equipment acquisitions and for the physical plant.
