Oncology Unit

Conduct assessments for appropriateness of admission, continued stay and to prepare the patient for discharge. Send clinical information to the patient's insurance plans for medical necessity. Initiate safe discharge plans and collaborate with outside resources when needed.

Pcu- Progressive Care Unit

In collaboration with the Director I was responsible for the operation of the assigned department, following relevant established standards and guidelines. Ensuring the patient achieve the best possible outcome and the highest level of satisfaction. Assist and support staff in professsional growth and development, maintain personnel files and staff attendance list.

Medical Surgical Unit

In collaboration with the Nurse Manager I was responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department including all aspects of patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility and strategic goals of the unit. Participate in performance evaluations and budget planning of a 52 bed unit with 100 employees.

Pcu- Progressive Care Unit

Provided bedside care for the sick, injured, or disable people. Assess patient health problems and needs. Develop and implement plan of care along with administering medications and treatments.
